Journalists Save Child Strapped to Electric Pole in Ngogwe Town.

An unidentified woman was forced to release a minor she had tied with ropes to an electric pole after accusing him of repeatedly stealing bread from her shop.

The woman claimed the boy, who resides in a nearby village, would often sneak into her business to steal cash and items such as bread. On June 26, she allegedly caught him red-handed and decided to discipline him herself by tying him to the pole along the roadside and started beating him using a huge stick.
